Maintaining a Siemens EQ and Bosch Vero: descaling, cleaning and water filter

A Siemens EQ or Bosch Vero tells you itself when it needs maintenance: descaling, cleaning or a new water filter. With the original tablets and the right filter, it takes just a few minutes of work; the machine does the rest.

How to fit a new Brita Intenza filter

1. Turn the ring at the bottom of the filter to the hardness of your tap water.
2. Briefly rinse the filter under cold water and push it firmly onto the connector in the empty water tank.
3. Fill the water tank and select in your machine's menu that you are fitting a new filter; the machine then flushes the filter.
