Instructions for use: Siemens EQ.series Brita Intenza water filter – pack of 6 (TZ70063A)

How to fit your Brita Intenza filter

Replace the filter every 2 months or as soon as the machine asks for it.

  1. Turn the ring at the bottom of the filter to the water hardness in your home: A soft, B medium, C hard.
  2. Shake the filter under cold water until no more air bubbles come out.
  3. Screw or press the filter into the connection in the water tank.
  4. In the menu, choose Insert or replace water filter, so that the machine counts down to the replacement date.
  5. Fill the tank to MAX, place a container under the spout and let the machine flush the filter as the display asks. Only then make coffee.

Caffinity tip: Remove the filter from the tank before you descale. Don't know your water hardness? You can find it by postcode on your water supplier's website.

Every machine is slightly different. If in doubt, follow the display or your machine's manual.
