How to clean your fully automatic coffee machine
Your machine will ask to be cleaned, usually after about 200 cups. The programme takes about 10 minutes.
- In the Maintenance menu, choose Clean, or press and hold the maintenance button.
- Empty the drip tray and the coffee grounds container and put them back.
- Place one tablet where the machine indicates. This is usually the compartment or drawer for ground coffee.
- Place a bowl under the coffee spout.
- Let the programme run to the end.
- Then empty the drip tray and the coffee grounds container once more.
Caffinity tip: If your machine has a removable brew group (e.g. Philips, Saeco), also rinse it under the tap every week, without washing-up liquid.
